Life at Windsor

a church without walls

We’re a local church and community of people who seek to love and worship God; follow Jesus & love to serve our neighbour.
Our vision ‘to be a church without walls’ includes the desired intention to be a place of BELONGING; MULTIPLYING; SERVING & GOING

We’re a family where everyone is welcome, where old and young gather together under one roof to share, to celebrate, to laugh and cry, to encourage, to talk, to listen and to share life together.

In our family we strive after acceptance, love, hope, forgiveness, wise choices, encouraging words, challenge and unity. Like every family, we don’t always get it right – we make mistakes, we disagree, we sometimes fail but through it all we seek to learn, love and laugh as we grow together on our journey of faith. We aren’t a perfect family but our hope is that Windsor will be a place you can call home.

We aim to be a church where:

  • we welcome everyone and anyone, and encourage them to belong to God and to each other
  • we grow as more people choose to love God, follow Jesus and join the Church
  • we equip and empower people to serve (within our family and beyond)
  • we encourage people to go and be Christ’s witnesses where they live, study, work and to the ends of the earth

Remembering

4pm Sunday 26th September

Join us in person to remember together those we have lost during the pandemic.

This service is for anyone from any faith or none, to remember, give thanks and offer support.

We will read names of people you have lost, point to helpful resources and include readings and prayers designed to help on the long journey of grief.

Use our Church Center App (see the Events tab), or go direct to the webpage or contact Debbie to register for this service.

Stay for light refreshments or take time to quietly reflect.

International Meeting Point donations

7:30pm Tuesday 14th September

Our regular collection for IMP continues on the second Tuesday of the month in the Majestic carpark.  There will also be a donation box in the foyer on Sunday 12th September.

Useful items to donate include tinned tomatoes, tuna, rice, salt, cooking oil, sugar and coffee.

Changes to services from 15th August

From 15th August there will be just one service at 10:30am.

In keeping with the latest Government guidelines we are making a few adjustments over the coming weeks.  Changes in social distancing means we can accommodate more people in the auditorium.  Face coverings will be required on entry and exit,  or when singing or moving around the building.  They can be removed when seated.

Our vision at Windsor Tots is to be a fun, creative and safe space where children and families will want to be. We hope that this will be a place where our youngest kids (and parents) will experience God, perhaps for the first time, as they learn the foundation blocks of faith: God loves them – God made them – God wants to be their friend.

Our goal within Windsor Kids is to partner with parents to lead children into a growing relationship with Jesus. It is our prayer that through the various ministries the kids will experience the extravagant love of God, be discipled and grow in favour and wisdom with God and people. Almost 2000 years ago Jesus said “let the little children come to me” and we believe He continues to say it today.

Over the coming months, we don’t want to be passive or slip into unhelpful habits but rather choose to connect, share and ultimately grow together in these new and interesting days. Our heart is to follow Jesus even more closely – learning His ways, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us into carriers of hope.

Small groups are places where local groups of 6 to 18 people gather twice each month in homes to Connect relationally and Grow spiritually.

While we are temporarily prohibited from meeting in this way for everyone’s safety, we still need one another. More now than ever!
